Connecting sources
This page walks an admin through the lifecycle of a connector: add it, enter credentials, test it, and let it sync — plus editing its settings later and removing it. Everything happens in Settings → Connections.

Add a connector
- Open Settings → Connections.
- Choose Add connector. The picker opens inline, grouped by category.
- Select the source you want. A connection card appears with that source's credential fields.
Enter credentials
Each connector shows only the fields it needs. Required fields are marked with an asterisk; optional fields can be left blank.
- Secrets (tokens, API keys, app passwords) are stored encrypted and shown masked afterward.
- Settings such as a workspace, organization, base URL, or space scope what gets pulled in.
- A base URL is editable on connectors that support self-managed or regional instances.
Fill in every required field, then save the card.
TIP
Some sources need more than a token. For example, Bitbucket needs a workspace and username; Aha! needs a subdomain; Databricks needs a host. Those fields appear on the connect form so you can finish setup in one step.
Test, then it syncs
After you save credentials, the card shows that they are saved but not yet verified. A connector is not treated as connected until you test it.
- Click Test. Liddr checks the credentials against the source and reports success or an error with detail.
- Fix any problem and test again — you can test as often as you like.
Once a connector is connected, it begins pulling content in and stays current: routine refreshes bring in only what is new or changed since the last sync, and progress is shown on the card as it runs. If a refresh is interrupted, it picks up where it left off without creating duplicates.
Edit credentials and settings
To change a connector later, open its card and edit it:
- Credentials — update the token or other secrets. After saving, you'll be prompted to test again so the connection is re-verified.
- Settings — update non-secret details such as a project, organization, region, or base URL.
Remove a connector
Choose Remove on the card and confirm. This deletes the connector's stored credentials and stops future syncs.
WARNING
Removing a connector deletes its credentials, but content already brought into the knowledge graph stays until it is re-synced or otherwise cleared. Removal stops future syncs; it does not retroactively purge the graph.
