Troubleshooting

This page lists the things you're most likely to run into and how to resolve them. Each entry follows a symptom → what's happening → what to do shape.

Recent content isn't showing up in answers yet

What's happening. A source that was just connected, or content that changed very recently, may still be syncing before it appears in answers.

What to do. Give it a little time. If it still doesn't show up, an admin can re-sync the source under Settings → Connections — open the connector and let it refresh.

A connector shows as not verified

What's happening. Saving credentials alone doesn't confirm they work. A connector isn't treated as connected until it has been tested against the source.

What to do. Open the connector and click Test. If the test fails, correct the credentials in the dialog and test again. See Connecting sources.

Know says it can't find something

What's happening. Either the source that holds the answer isn't connected, or the information is personal or record-level data that the shared knowledge graph intentionally doesn't hold.

What to do. Check whether the relevant source is connected under Settings → Connections; if not, an admin can add it — see Available connectors. If the answer depends on personal data such as your mailbox or files, connect a personal connector so Know can reach it live under your own credentials.

A source stopped syncing

What's happening. Most often the source's credentials expired or were revoked, so Liddr can no longer reach it.

What to do. Open the connector and click Test to re-check the credentials. If the test fails, update the token or other credentials in the dialog and test again. Once it passes, syncing resumes. See Connecting sources.

A credential shows as masked in Settings

What's happening. This is expected. Liddr never displays a stored secret back to you; it shows a mask in place of the value.

What to do. Nothing — your credential is safe. To change it, type the new value over the mask and save. Leaving the mask in place keeps the existing value.
